▶ Learn how to use the Gua Sha with Dominique Cojuangco!

1. Cleanse your skin as usual. Always remember to apply a serum or a face oil before using the Gua Sha to allow it to glide more easily.
2. Using light yet firm pressure, sweep the Gua Sha across different areas of your face using upward or sideways strokes.
3. Though it’s perfectly safe to use your Gua Sha daily, we recommend starting out by using it thrice a week to see how your skin responds to it.

 

Note: When starting your gua sha practice, your skin could be aggravated and you may experience breakouts in the first two weeks. This is completely normal! You are putting a healthy amount of pressure on your skin combined with a serum, which deeply reaches and cleans underneath the surface of your skin.

 

This breakout, also known as a “purge,” is a good thing! You are helping your skin purge all the bad stuff so it’s cleaner, healthier, and ready to absorb the good stuff.
