From 3D graphic design, singing, and producing beauty content, what can’t Gabs Gibbs do? We speak to the multi-faceted creative about her first self-care memory, what skincare products she can't live without, and her opinions on Filipino beauty ideals all while giving us a run-down of her top shelf The Collective products.
Gabs: I guess this was in high school. I had really bad cystic acne and that’s how my whole journey with beauty began. I tried everything out there to tame my skin and I think that’s what encouraged me to share what worked for me to my followers.
Gabs: Applying moisturizer. I know sunscreen should be everyone’s top one. But I’m a dry-skinned lady, and I can’t go a day without applying any sort of emollient on my skin.
Gabs: They're outdated. I believe it’s time to get over our Eurocentric Ideal of beauty. It’s not the only “lewk” out there.
We need to celebrate every skin tone, shape, texture in existence and just live people!
